Goodbye Miami :(

Miami we will miss you. Here are a few things we did before we left . . .

Sushi night with Sunny.

Sunny got all the supplies and prepared us an authentic sushi meal. He made everything from scratch! Even the spicy mayo. We were very impressed and it was delicious. Thank you Sunny.

We went to a Miami Heat game. It was against the Houston Rockets (Yao is soooo tall!!) Miami lost but we still had a great time. Metz enjoyed popcorn and during the 4th quarter we snuck down close to get a better view :). Metz doesn't love Basketball like Hockey - he thought the crowd was too noisy!

We prepared for Black Friday. Cort and Metz throughly looked through all the black friday ads while I was working on Thanksgiving dinner. We made a list, we made a schedule and we kicked butt the next day. Thanks to Cort and Metz and all their planning. We LOVE Black Friday!

Lastly we enjoyed Thanksgiving Dinner with just our family. We had a few appetizers, the full meal - turkey, stuffing, yams, green bean cassarole and four pies for dessert! It was fun to hang out just the three of us.

Right before we left Metz and I visited the Train Museum and went shopping a few more places. We really loved Miami and we'll miss it. There was so much to do and see that we hope to go back someday :) Plus the weather was perfect!! Now we are spending the holidays in Vegas with Cort's family and will move to Idaho officially in January.
Merry Christmas to all our friends and family!!!

Kimi, I am so impressed with your cooking skills! I'm not sure I could make a full Thanksgiving meal with no help! I guess maybe I could if it was a necessity and there were no other options. Maybe I'd surprise myself:) Sounds like Miama was good to you. Probably cuz you were only there a short time. That's how I felt about all the places we've lived for the summers...I knew it wasn't long-term so I kinda liked the new scenery and could enjoy it!:) Hope your holidays are happy! I sent your Christmas card to Jan & Berne's.

I didn't know you were off to Idaho. That's closer, but colder!
Hope you had a Merry Christmas.
