And in this Corner . . .
(Imagine Bruce Buffer's voice)
Standing almost 27 inches tall
Weighing 18 lbs 12.5 ounces
At the tender age of 4 months old
CHASE "THE CHUNK" LEAVITT
Here is our sweet boy just being Chase. He talks and laughes so much now (just loves to hear his own little voice), wakes up happy and has been sleeping til 4 or 5 am before his first feeding (lucky mom). He is a pretty funny kid, gives us some pretty classic looks. He loves to watch his brother and kick in the tub. He is also our fake whiner . . . if you leave him he gives this sad little whimper but the second he can see you again he starts to smile and kick. We love our big boy. By the way . . . did you check out those thighs??!?
Preschool Graduation
The "graduate" too cute in his hat, daddy's shirt backwards and flowers. It was fun to watch him "graduate" I actually was a little sad thinking - oh man here we go with school and all that growing up stuff.
The kids sang a song and did actions. Well everyone but Metz. As we were driving to his teachers house he started worrying because he didn't know the words and that his teacher would be sad. When it was time to sing he stood up with everyone and then got the saddest face I've ever seen. He didn't do one action or say one word, just looked so sad. I was happy when it was over so he could relax.
Grandma and Chase. Just a cute picture. He is such a sweet boy.
Metz with Grandma and Grandpa Butler. It was fun to have them there for this event in his life :).
Memorial Day Weekend
We spent the weekend in swimsuits (thanks grandma Leavitt for this cute one!), washing cars and eating ice cream. FUN FUN
Chase also had his first taste of rice cereal. He ate it the first time then we tried to add it to his formula and he refused to drink it. A few days later Cort tried to feed him the rice cereal again and he gagged and then spit it out. So he has officially only had rice cereal one time. The doctor told me to keep trying until he can start veggies at the end of the month.
We got to wear our sunglasses. It was actually a nice sunny weekend which seem to be in short supply here in Rexburg. We enjoyed a great family weekend.
